Las tres fases de una partida (la apertura, el medio juego y el final) están interrelacionadas de forma orgánica. La partida es un todo dinámico donde tras una serie de jugadas, por muy insignificantes que parezcan a primera vista, la situación en el tablero varía. Pero, además de estos cambios paulatinos, podemos destacar también ciertos momentos críticos, momentos clave, en los que tiene lugar una brusca transformación cualitativa a lo largo de la batalla. Entre estos momentos clave se encuentra, antes de nada, la transición de una fase del juego a otra. Los autores acomenten, en esta obra, la compleja tarea que representa el análisis de la transición al final de partida, logrando un estudio esclarecedor, pleno de sencillez
The three phases of a game (the opening, the half game and the end) are interrelated organically. The game is a dynamic whole where after a series of moves, however insignificant they may seem at first sight, the situation on the board varies. But, in addition to these gradual changes, we can also highlight certain critical moments, key moments, in which a sudden qualitative transformation takes place throughout the battle. Between these key moments is, first of all, the transition from one phase of the game to another. The authors take into account, in this work, the complex task represented by the analysis of the transition at the end of the game, achieving an enlightening study, full of simplicity.
