El
club GROS XAKE TALDEA se fundó a inicios de 1991. Varios aficionados al
ajedrez residentes en el barrio donostiarra de Gros decidieron difundir
este bello deporte-ciencia
y los beneficios que reporta a quienes lo practican, entre la gente de
nuestro barrio.
Veintiocho
años de vida lleva el club Gros Xake Taldea potenciando el ajedrez en
San Sebastián. A los muchos retos que en este tiempo se ha enfrentado,
ahora le llega uno bien
grande ya que va a organizar a finales de diciembre un torneo con las
primeras figuras mundiales del ajedrez para rememorar aquel campeonato
que el casino donostiarra organizo en 1911 también con la elite de este
deporte en aquella época.

club GROS XAKE TALDEA was founded at the beginning of 1991. Several
