Chavet formó su empresa en 1912, y disfrutó de una bonanza y éxito
continuado en los años de inter guerras, inclusive después de la Segunda
Guerra Mundial, principalmente con exportaciones a Alemania, Italia, Estados Unidos y Gran Bretaña. Después la II Guerra, los trebejos Chavet parecen haberse adaptado a una cierta forma y han variado poco durante los años. En 1993 Nueva York en el Campeonato Mundial entre Kasparov y Anand se usaron un modelo de piezas muy similar al que se presenta hoy. Míralo en mi Colección.

Chavet formed his company in 1912, and enjoyed a good times and
continued success in the interwar years, including after the Second
World War, mainly with exports to Germany, Italy, the United States and
Great Britain. After the II War, the Chavet chess pieces seem to have
adapted to a certain form and have varied little over the years. In 1993
New York in the World Championship between Kasparov and Anand were used
a model of pieces very similar to the one presented today. Look at it in my Collection
